QMC TRUCK CRANES & BOOM TRUCKS

QMC has two primary product lines: boom trucks and truck cranes.

The boom trucks are cranes mounted on the rear of commercial truck chassis and ahead of the fifth wheel on three and four axle tractor.  Their primary use is to transport and unload large and heavy products.

The truck-mounted cranes are centered over the rear tandem axles of a commercial truck chassis.  With longer boom lengths and enclosed operator cabs these cranes offer a viable alternative to carrier mounted truck cranes.

QMC's reputation is based on teh individual attention given to each unit produced.  Each crane is tailored as much as possible to each customer's application.

A Few Words on QMC's Truck Mounted Cranes and Booms
Capacity
In most cases, particularly when lifting over the side, AMC machines out pick the competition by dramatic margins.  This is particularly true at extended radii of 25' to 70".
Quality
QMC cranes are made of 100,000 PSI steel, which gives them an unequalled strength-to-weight ratio. Components are hand fitted to exact tolerances.  In terms of both material and workmanship, no other North American manufacturer builds a better product.
Road Speed
Because QMC mounts truck cranes on standard truck chassis, the carrier can be equipped with higher perfance engines, transmissions, and suspensions.  The result is better road speeds and high-speed gradability when compared to competitive truck cranes.
Operator Comfort
A crane operator would rather spend 40 hours a week driving a Kenworth or Ford or Peterbuild or other conventional truck instead of being pouned by a crane carrier all day.  CAbs are also two-man, rather than cramped single operator cabs.
Replaceability
The carrier of a truck crane usually wears out long before the crane itself.  When the chassis wears out with QMC machines, it can be easily replaced.  The crane can be removed from the old chassis and remounted on a new in one or two days.

QMC cranes are constantly updated in terms and design and components.  In addition, special application cranes can be designed and manufactured to meet the specific needs of end users.
