Roadtec is a leading manufacturer of cold planing and
recycling equipment, material transfer vehicles and paving machines.
Roadtec was the first manufacturer in the industry to install an FXSTM
fume extraction system as standard equipment on all pavers and Shuttle
Buggy® material transfer vehicles. All of our
products are built to the highest standards, emphasizing simplicity,
productivity, versatility and accessibility.
Roadtec offers a full line of cold planers in sizes
from utility to full-lane. These cold planers provide the optimum
balance between horsepower, production and maneuverability. All track
models can be equipped with a bi-directional feature to achieve down
cutting in the reverse direction of travel. Variable width cutters and
attachments for side cutting, available
on some models, make Roadtec cold planers the most versatile machines
available. Roadtec's patented design of the RX-110 and RX-120 makes
these units the world's first and old full-specification cold in-place
recycling machines.
Roadtec pavers are the most reliable and
maintenance-free paver in the industry. They are simply-designed and
well-balanced for maximum tractive effort and can be equipped with a
variety of screeds and controls to achieve pavement smoothness levels
unattainable by most others. Access to critical componentry in Roadtec
pavers is unmatched by competitive brand machines.
Roadtec's
new and innovative gravity-fed StealthTM
paver was designed to work in conjunction with the SB-2500 Shuttle Buggy
material transfer vehicle and the MTV-1000B material transfer vehicle.
The revolutionary Stealth paver achieves extremely low maintenance costs
through the elimination of 75% of the traditional high-wear feeder
componentry.
The Shuttle Buggy material transfer vehicle offers
the latest in pavement placement technology available world-wide. The
Shuttle Buggy is a mobile, self-propelled surge bin with an
antisegregation auger design that remixes material to produce a
consistent size and temperature. In addition, the surge capacity of the
Shuttle Buggy allows for continuous paving by separating truck unloading
from the paving process; trucks never come in direct contact with the
paver and are able to unload material immediately and return to the
asphalt plant. |
